Find photos with the words that come to mind

You upload a photo. rokiroki adds the words.

When you upload a photo, AI looks at what is visible: people, objects, surroundings and atmosphere, for example. rokiroki turns this into a searchable description.

You can then search using an everyday phrase, such as:

• “Two people at a meeting table”
• “A red bicycle outside the town hall”
• “Children in a playground in the rain”

Results depend on what the AI recognises. It can make mistakes or miss a detail. Add information your team knows, such as a project or event name, to make the description more useful.

Use your own words

Search takes synonyms into account. Search for “car”, for example, and a photo described using “vehicle” may appear too. Helpful when your team shares an archive but doesn’t always share a vocabulary.

Each photo gets a description in both English and Dutch. English-speaking and Dutch-speaking colleagues can search the same archive in their own language.

Narrow it down when you need to

Lots of results? Filter by photographer or year. You can also search within a folder or collection, useful when you know which project an image belongs to.

Want to point a colleague to one particular photo? Use its unique image reference, such as SN-000123. You will both be looking at the same file.

Your own descriptions stay yours

An automatic description is a suggestion. Your own title, notes and additional keywords take precedence. rokiroki does not overwrite them with a new AI description. Your text stays in place when you upload a new version of the photo, too.

AI helps describe what is visible. Your team adds the knowledge that goes with it.

Using AI is your choice

rokiroki uses Google Gemini for automatic image descriptions. This sends images to Google for processing outside the EU. The arrangements are covered in the data processing agreement; the privacy statement, in Dutch, explains the processing.

You can have automatic descriptions switched off for your whole organisation. The image library remains searchable through your own titles and keywords.
